Fun fact: Kim Min Gue made me watch this one. I was excited to see him again after “A business proposal”. Halfway into this drama, I started to lose interest but I earnestly wanted to know if Rembrary returned to his world at the end and I’m glad I watched till finish instead of typing in questions on Google. Good drama.
Question 1: Favorite character(s)?
M/A: Woo Yeon Woo- I mean Rembrary as Woo Yeon Woo. I love his funny chaotic moments and his desire to always heal the sick and troubled.
Kasy- Just because he is so cute and humble. When he suffered because of his scandal, I felt like my heart was going to shatter too. Whenever he does his hella cute fan services, I melt. I want to protect him with everything😩 He deserves to be always happy.
Question 2: Favorite scene(s)?
M/A: Woo Yeon Woo performing the healing song with a choir theme. It felt like I was sitting with the other people watching him perform and heal in reality. It was such a therapeutic scene for me.
Wild animal getting an award during the Korea music award just when they've lost every hope of getting one. I went red with excitement when they were called up. Kasy's happy face made everything better. I wasn’t expecting them to get an award at all. I thought they will just expose the evil boys band and that will be all for the win.
Random: I've been all and on about Kasy, I know. I should just propose. Lol.
When I saw the drama poster for the first time with the drama name too, I thought it was going to be super cringe but it was much better. The plot twists with Rembrary and Woo Yeon Woo's real identity was unexpected and so interesting to watch. I like that they didn’t focus on the romance when there were more pressing issues to handle, it would have canceled the seriousness of the situation and the aura it gave.
I love the wild animal band, their manager, their agency, their cute unorganized house that got Rembrary screaming the first time he came in (lol) and their perseverance through all those crises (especially that of the band leader, he made and uploaded dance videos consistently to boost their popularity? So hard-working)💐
My heart broke for Rembrary after learning about Redrin's true intentions. The evil one too, he became evil for Redrin and still got ditched at the end. Redrin was just a greedy seaweed, who would have thought? How is it said again, trust nobody!
I still don’t understand Dal Gi and the female singer's story. How was she the cause of her attempting suicide that she blamed herself so much for it? The singer doesn’t even know her in person. Well, that storyline was wrapped up nicely at least. “Heavenly Idol” is a good drama with a considerable amount of funny, what the hell, wow moments. I'll recommend it.
My rating: 7/10. Great movie.
