TITLE

The first look I took at the title had me thinking our lead character was going to be a male. It was a female and her story was an epic one. I started Doctor Cha months after listening to everyone talk about it on the internet. I stopped after the first few episodes because Dr. Cha and Roy Kim weren’t getting as intimate as I wanted (shameless, I know🙂) Picked it up again when I got more realistic with my emotions and it was such a good ride to the end.

CHARACTERS

Cha Jung Sook – Doctor Cha is such a strong and kind woman. I love how she pulled through all the storms and still remained human. How did she even put up with her mother-in-law and nuclear family treating her like crap at first. Oh, I can sing her praises till eternity🏆 She is perfect and served everybody what they deserved. Plus she produced such lovely son and daughter 🌷

Seo In Ho – Permission to braid that man’s intestines, please! Cheating and mistreating your wife at the same time? Really? Really? Insisting your children become doctors like you against their wish? Like how inconsiderate can you be?  Right now, I’m recalling all over again how Cha Jung Sook suffered so much when she found out about what was happening. This character is a big red flag.

Jeong Min and Dr. So Ra – Jeon So Ra is so pretty and Seo Jeong Min is like a cute puppy. I love their workplace interactions so much. They’re just so cute. I laughed so hard whenever Jeong Min’s mum felt like strangling Jeon So Ra because she made her son so submissive. Eomma doesn’t know the full story yet😹 So happy they had a very beautiful ending.

Roy Kim – Man is hot and he did enough. Just didn’t love Doctor Cha enough☹️

SCENES

-Cha Jung Sook pulling her husband’s head into that damn cake and making a joke out of it was badass. I was screaming!

-Jeon So Ra and Jeong Min's off-work place interactions were butterfly-giving. I’m not talking about when they had that fight. Talk about the reconciliation! Oh! My! God! Those two are whipped for each other.

SOUNDTRACKS

Majorly instrumentals, right? I was more focused on the story, I guess.

RATING – 7/10

Here is what I wanted. Seo In Ho goes back to Choi Sung Hee because they were together initially before he decided to fall into temptations. I don’t blame Choi Sung Hee at all. She was wronged from the very beginning. I totally understand how she reunited with Seo In Ho and couldn’t help getting intimate.

I wanted Cha Jung Suk and Roy Kim to be a thing . Age shouldn’t be a barrier. They were good for each other. But the drama ended in the opposite direction. I know what I’ve said would have been the best for both parties but they had to consider the children’s feelings, I guess. So, the ending was for the best but it kinda sucks though.
