THE PRINCESS DALI AND PRINCE GAMJA STORY

Fun fact: I watched this drama following my instincts and because the female lead wore a really pretty dress for the drama's official poster ): I dropped “Doom at your service” at episode eight for this drama and I have no regrets.

Question 1: Favorite character(s)?

M/A: Jin Moo Hak (male lead) – His sense of humor got me hooked from episode one. This character is smart too and had great fighting skills. He was also a perfect cook and a kind person. How much more perfect can a character get? I'm screaming at the top of my lungs. I forgot to mention how so much of an eye candy and super hard-working he was. Show me a person that doesn’t love this character and I’ll show you a bulb that produces 'black light'

Yeo Mi Ra (male lead's secretary) - The secretary and the boss are both humor formed, that in itself is even more humor. The actress that played this character is very dear to my heart, such an interesting talent. After seeing her performances in “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” and “Crash Course in Romance”, I’ve remained Hwang Bo Ra whipped. So, yeah!

Question 2: Favorite scene(s)?

M/A: The Da Li/Moo Hak airport scene. What was that😂 I was surprised, amused, and confused at some point. It was a really good one, really good one. What a scene!

Every Moo Hak and his secretary scene – This duo always gets me, their chaotic arguments, useful plan discussions, and goofy behaviors. I could watch 16 episodes of just them.

🔊🔊🔊 It was Jang Tae Jin's guts for me. He contributed to her father’s death and still didn’t feel any guilt asking her to marry him. He broke off their engagement just before the wedding because she was adopted but still came back to preach his love to her because she suddenly became the biological daughter of her father. Such a red flag joker! But then again, my unhealthy obsession over villains admires his calmness in every situation. The first time he raised his voice from the two times he did that in the entire drama had my heart shattered (I’m a lost cause, I know (:

Kim Da Li is such a cute and strong cookie. I like the fact that there wasn’t a love triangle between her, Kim Jae Young (her detective brother/friend), and Moo Hak. Not like I hate love triangles so much but for this drama, it made things less complicated.

It would have rounded up well with just 15 episodes. Nevertheless, I still loved the cute banter between the male and female lead that made up more than half of the last episode.  Still, I would have preferred a little bit more of the detective and Chak Hui. I thought these cutie pies were apart for a full year, it was just one week💁‍♀️

I miss eating pork, by the way.

My rating: 10/10, the drama had everything in good amounts. Suspense, romance, comedy,  action, no cliche with just the perfect heartwarming OSTs.

Current watch: See you in my 19th life, King the Land, Dr. Cha
