WHEN ONE DOOR CLOSES, ANOTHER OPENS

Fun fact: Proceeded with this drama because of the bubbly Bo Ra. I love dramas with hyperactive characters and “True to Love” was just another of such.

Question 1: Favorite character(s)?

M/A: Bo Mi – She was such an interesting character to me. Her constant complaints about and attacks on her elder sister, meanwhile she was the most worried when Bo Ra suffered from her break-up trauma, her hyper activeness in general, how she melts like ice cream with Jin Ho after all her threats to kill him😂, I also think she is very cute.

Yang Jin Ho- Our widely naive boy. His consistency and optimism are admirable.

I could watch episodes of just Jin Ho, Bo Mi, and Susu forever.

Question 2: Favorite scene(s)?

M/A: Quite a couple of scenes were golden for me. Yu Jung opening up Bo Mi's door with a chopstick was so cooooool.

Jin Woo's couple business call to his wife scenes was iconic. I mean, the “Call 911, there'll be a big fire in our house…” (That’s not it exactly but something like that, lol). It’s even more iconic said in Korean or better still, said by Jin Woo himself. So cute.

Jin Ho lifting Bo Mi's spirits when she doubted her capabilities by telling her how she could do anything is one scene I’d give up every other scene to watch. They are so adorable, my heart!!

Every Jin Ho/Bo Mi scene is precious to me.

Every Soo Hyeok/Bo Ra moment was beautiful to watch too.

RANDOM: Noh Ju Hwan is a real jerk. My mind almost tricked me into wishing Bo Ra accepts his proposal with the whole chicken talk only to create that mind-blowing surprise. Man had not even ended things with the other girl. Made me wonder how Bo Ra would have felt after being embarrassed again like that if she didn’t have Su Hyeok all along.

Sang Jin and U Ri together are cute but the age difference gives me the creeps. Well, Sang Jin is smart and open-minded, U Ri is cheerful and honest and they both are comfortable with each other which is all that matters. Sometimes, I feel Sang Jin should have worked things out with his ex-wife. She divorced him because she was clueless about his worries distracting him but after she got to know about this, she regretted her actions, yeah? If they had pushed it a little further, it might just have worked but Sang Jin already found a light shining through his heart🙂 How would his ex-wife feel to know he is with “Our U Ri” (in Sang Jin's voice)? I wish we were shown.

How did Jin Ho and my precious Bo Mi end up in that situation? A baby when Jin Ho was not even stable yet. I'm a bit sad. I hope it doesn’t become too much for them to handle

About Su Hyeok and Yoo Ri, Su Hyeok might have had his flaws but Yoo Ri wasn’t understanding enough of them. She breaking up over such an issue, I think is a little bit too much.

Everyone got a happy ending I’d say, except Noh Ju Hwan of course, because he doesn’t deserve one.

Anyways, I love how “True to Love” portrayed reality. From the heartbreak associated with breakups to the fact that marriages and relationships aren’t all rosy.

My rating: 9/10 for fourteen episodes of Goodness with a “die for” last scene and a beautiful OST.

Current watch: "See you in my 19th life", "King the land"
