K-DRAMA: LOVE TO HATE YOU (#pour17)

Director: Kim Jung Kwon

Screen writer: Choi Soo Young

Casts: Kim Ok Bin (Yeo Mi Ran), Yoo Teo (Nam Kang Ho), Kim Ji Hoon (Do Won Joon), Go Won Hee (Shin Na Eun)

(Every other cast and crew member not mentioned did an equally amazing job)

FUN FACTS: This drama had ten episodes and they were released all at once. I didn’t have to wait every  week for new episodes🥺 I wish producers understand the pain I go through waiting for new episodes every week and follow this step.

QUESTION 1: Favorite character(s)?

M/A: Female lead is badass, male lead is great, second male lead is iconic, I get it all but my favorite character trophy goes to second female lead, Shin Na Eun🏆. From her hairstyle to her occupation as a flight attendant (she looks so cool in those uniforms, accompanied with the hairstyle change) to how she cares for her best friend to how she literally loses it for Do Won Joon's charms (my girl fell so harrrd😂) to her warm personality. I enjoyed every scene of her.

QUESTION 2: Favorite scene(s)?

M/A: The “hawt” scenes were on another level, so cute and fluffy. Scene 62 is my favorite though🌚, you don’t know scene 62? Go read the movie script, will you🤷🏼‍♀️ (do you get what I was trying to do? 😂) Okay, the scene of Do Won Joon picking Shin Na Eun from the airport after work is scene 62😌 such a simple yet beautiful scene.

RANDOM: I only 65% enjoyed this drama. I’m not saying it’s not a good one, maybe it’s not the genre my soul needed at that moment or I need time to get used to romcoms with less complications. Either ways, I admire Nam Kang Ho and Do Won Joon's friendship so much (my new favorite friendship trope). How they were so comfortable with each other, people even thought they were gay (I thought so for a moment too, I apologize for my rash judgement). Can we take a moment to appreciate how hot those men were. Are they even humans. I also enjoyed how this drama took us through the process of film making and production, the casts selection, challenges on set, the filming process and equipment, the mass watching at the cinema for wrap up, the premiere, and even the challenges actors face in their line of work and for their fame. I got to understand all that a little more. I’ll recommend drama for the feels, knowledge and good energy.

Important question 😂😂

Have you seen “love to hate you”? what are your thoughts about it?
