K-DRAMA: REVIEWING AND RATING “ONE SPRING NIGHT”

Fun fact: Jung Hae In again! I honestly didn’t know he was in this drama until I saw him playing basketball ball in the very first screen, I went “Hae In oppaaaa”. It’s obvious I’m in my Jung Hae In era. I watched four of his dramas consecutively already.

Question 1: Favorite character(s)?

M/A: Lee Jae In, she is so fearless, confident and determined. I love her wavy hair too.

Eun U, he is such a cute little boy with a cute little bow😊

Question 2: Favorite scene(s)?

M/A: Ji Hoo and his son telling each other about how they're fond of Jung In because she is nice amidst smiles. It was so warm to watch.

The scene of Jae in totally messing Nam Si Hoon up when he tried to hit her elder sister. I honestly can’t get enough of LEE JAE IN🏆

Random: Talk about how this drama is so similar to “Something in the rain”. Read on a blog post about the female lead role initially offered to Son Ye Ji but she declined saying the story was too similar to “Something in the rain”. I don't know how true this is but if it is really, I wish Jung Hae In declined too, the two dramas have this striking similarity. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the single father storyline plus Eun U is too cute. For the record, I enjoy dramas with children characters so much.

Between Seo In and her husband, I strongly feel he loves her but can’t express it right because of his ego. I was shocked to learn that some people pitied Gi Seok, why please 🤷🏼‍♀️ His marriage with Jung In would have been too disastrous if it happened. 

Jung In's dad went through such a phase of selfishness.

I didn’t really feel the male lead character, to be very honest.

My rating: 7/10. Some episodes were really slow. This drama had more storylines than “Something in the rain” as well as more interesting characters but I’ll choose “Something in the rain” over it, maybe because I watched it first or perhaps because I prefer Jung Hae In's role in “Something in the rain”.
