K-DRAMA: “REVENGE OF OTHERS” REVIEW (#pour20)

Fun fact: I watched this drama because there was Park Solomon and also because it was quite popular. At some point while watching it, I found myself loving  Sa Jung Gyeong😭 Let’s talk about my unhealthy obsession over villains in dramas on another good day.

Question 1: Favorite character (s)?

M/A: My favorite character award goes unopposed to Jae Beom🏆 My best boy literally ended up in cuffs for “been sick”. It was agonizing to watch😭 Split personality disorder should be hanged. 

A lot of other characters were on point too. Ji Soo Heon, his fighting skill and him punishing the bullies  is heroic. Ok Chan Mi, she is so brave to have wanted to find her brother's killer at all cost. Tae So Yeon, her white hair and daring stares give the “don’t mess with me” vibes. I love her for becoming only stronger and wiser from her bullying experiences. Kook Ji Hoon, I love her fashion sense and her cute hair pins.

Question 2: Favorite scene (s)?

M/A: The toe crushing scene. Iconic!! Making the offender have a taste of the shot they feed others!! Yes, Ji Soo Heon!!

Random: The plot of this drama kept twisting until it began to make sense. From Chan Mi's brother dying to how it wasn’t suicide but murder to Ji Soo Heon been accused of the crime to why will anyone want to kill him, he was not one of the bad guys to Gi O Sung manipulated him to why did he allow himself get manipulated to the him been gay matter to countless plot twists. At a point, I suspected everybody to have contributed in one way or the other to his death. It was nerve wrecking, What would you have me do😭😄 After taking us through confusions and suspicions, it all made sense in the end.

It was a relief  to not see Soo Heon die (I thought he was going to after been hit on the head like that in the stable☹️). Tae So Yeon didn’t let him know about her feelings to the very end knowing she would get rejected anyways, she is so cool, right? 🙂 We were not shown what happened to Jae Bum after his arrest (I’m worried about him😪). I felt pity for Gi O Sung for dying like that but he did worse things to people. I wish So Heon and Chan Mi a good life. No kiss scene but we got a satisfying last scene. Finally, who else wants to become a cop, they are so cooooollll

My rating: 10/10 for the plot twist held to the very end, perfect casting and beautiful OSTs. Will definitely re-watch and recommend to friends.
