K-DRAMA: REVIEWING AND RATING “SNOWDROP”

Director: Jo Hyun Taek

Screen writer: Yoo Hyun Mi

Casts: Jung Hae In (Im Soo Ho), Kim Ji Soo (Eun Young Ro), Jang Seung Jo (Lee Kang Mo), Yoo In Na (Kang Cheong Ya), Yoon Se Ah (Pi Seung Hee), Kim Hye Yoon (Gye Bun Ok), Jung Eugene (Jang Ha Na)

(All other cast and crew member not mentioned did an equally amazing job)

Fun fact: I finally put a stop to procrastinating watching this drama after I discovered Jung Hae In. Now that I’ve seen Tune in for love, Something in the rain, One spring night and Snowdrop, I should be recognized and accepted fully as a “Holy” (Jung Hae In fan), YES!😅 For the next information, I feel like a lot of people who watched this drama already know but I’d still say the female lead (Eun Yeong Ro) is Kim Ji Soo of the famous K-pop girl band, Black Pink. I wasn’t a Black Pink fan until after watching Ji Soo in Snow Drop. Congratulations Chi Chu, you just won your group another incredible fan😂🎉🎉

I saw Jang Seung Jo again, I was so excited to have recognized him after watching him in “Strangers Again”

Question 1: Favorite character(s)?

M/A: The male lead passed for everyone's favorite character, I guess. Even in the drama,he was liked by all except the bad and the ignorant 🙂

Jang Ha Na, she was badass and not the slightest fear of afraid to take risks.

Nam Tae Il, just for the comic relief he provided all through the drama. I honestly laugh anytime he speak, think or take actions. Man is so much of a joker.

I laughed so much in this scene, Nam Tae Il denying his secret relationship with Dr. Kang, everyone disclosing each other's secret deeds, the chaos, it was so funny.

Question 2: Favorite scene?

M/A: I would have had every Soo Ho-Yeong Ro scene up for this but they were mostly sad scenes😢 I like the drinking coffee to erase bad memories scene specially.

I like the Yeong Ro doing the one way ticket dance at the shop scene. It was cute.

Then, there is the scene of Soo Ho and comrade Joo discovering Lee Eung Cheol had gone partially deaf as a result of the explosion.

I had this rush of emotion watching this scene. Thank goodness he got better but he died at the end still, I can’t stop crying.

Random: And that was how a perfectly working dormitory came down to ruins. I feel like it was bound to happen even without Soo Ho getting involved because there were “a lot” of shady persons in the dormitory already. Reminds me so much of how an entire school was destroyed in “All of us are dead”. Well, the dormitory got rebuilt, maybe the school will in the second season of the drama. Lee Kang Mo and Jang Ha Na weren’t given enough time together, Comrade Joo and Gye Bun Ok weren’t given enough time together🤧 I understand why but I’d loved to see it. I want to commend the effort of the writer in giving us a happy ending too🙂

I don’t want to end this without mentioning the feisty Go Hye Ryung  And the sensitive Yoo Seol Hee of room 207🏆

My rating: 9/10 for all the feels and for Soo Ho dying like that.

Quick question: JOO GYEOK CHAN or GYE BUN OK?🙂
