SILENCE (#pour6)

The cool breeze of silence that greeted me as I walked into the room was a beautiful sign. I did not have to stress my voice trying to be social with a bunch of strangers. I did not have to worry about my facial expressions or how I walked around the room. It was overwhelmingly satisfying.

I looked around, there were just non living things. Just desks, chairs, a table, fans, a wall clock, empty cans and sachets. I moved towards the last chair following my instincts, sat down and looked around again. I had so much planned out already for execution, but I suddenly did not want to work on anything. I listened. There was a faint voice from a distance. Who dares to break this perfect system? The voice ceased. Everywhere was still again.

What I wanted to do right then? Nothing. I just wanted to sit, listen and watch. Listen to the silence, watch the nothingness. I did just that but not for long. Approaching footsteps, voices, humans started appearing. The system broke. Noises arose. You do not always get what you want anyways. I looked at my schedule, assignments to finish, books to read, house chores to attend to, the list was endless. More noise.
