K-DRAMA: ALCHEMY OF SOULS, SEASON 1&2 (#pour2)

Alchemy of souls (AOS) was directed by Park Joon Hwa and Screen written by Hong Mi Ran and Hong Jung Eun (The Hong Sisters)🏆 My heart pours out to other members of the crew; the cinematographer (everyone saw the perfect job he/she/they did), the editing team, the person that picked out those OSTs (how is one human so talented 🥺❤️) and every other crew member.

FUN FACTS: 

• I did not watch season 1 of AOS until

season 2 started airing. After hearing how the last episode of S1 ended and seeing how everyone couldn’t wait for S2, I decided to save myself from the torture of being in suspense 🙂 Deemalovesdrama haven’t even started AOS at that time, I was  not in that alone🥴

• I binge watched S1 after some episodes of S2 was aired. I binge watched available episodes of S2 too. I still suffered suspense while waiting for Episode 9 and 10 though.

• Why does everyone seem to hate the fact that actress Jung Soo Min as Mu Deok ended with S1?  I mean, both actresses had to act and they did perfect jobs.

• I am in love with the OSTs, “Scars leave beautiful traces” and “Tree” by Hwang Mi Hyun (Seo Yul)

QUESTION 1: Favorite character(s)

M/A: 

• Park Jin, He is so cool and has the interest of everyone at heart. I love his aura.

• Maidservant Kim, she is every goodness and so pretty, always looking out for Jang Uk. I love the affection she shared with Park Jin. For a split second, I was sad that the twin babies weren’t theirs.

• Master Heo Yeom, he is damn hilarious and free spirited with beautiful energy.

• Crown prince Go Won. He is another funny character. The process of him falling in love with Naksu as Mudeok and as Bu Yeon and still keeping in check is admirable. His bromance with Jang Uk is beautiful. He deserves every good thing.

• Seo Yul. He is immaculate. Very cool and handles everything the best way. He is so strong too. He started training mages again. So admirable.

• Master Lee. I do not even need to say anything. Give this character accolades. He deserves them and more.

• Park Dang Gu is my precious character. Nobody do him wrong, please.

• Jin Cho Yeon is pretty like a flower. I like the bond she shared with Park Dang Gu

• Jang UK, Naksu as Mu Deok, Naksu as Jin Bu Yeon. There is absolutely no reason to hate these characters. There’s a trillion and one reason to love them.

• Can we send hugs to every AOS child character 🤲 These children did amazingly well.

• Every ‘Park Jin and Maid servant Kim' scene

• Every 'Park Dang Gu and Jin Cho Yeon' scene

• Every 'Jang Uk and Mu Deok/Naksu/Bu Yeon' scene. Very simple answer,right?😅

RANDOM: Alchemy of Souls gave us the ending we wanted🎉 The behind the scene clips were all very cute. Watch Alchemy of Souls if you are yet to. Life is already too stressful to miss out on watching AOS. Take it from me😅

Is it just me or “Kim Doju” as used in the drama translates to “Maidservant Kim” and NOT “Kim Do Ju” as a name? I’m sure I heard something like “Kim Yeon” as the character's full name.
